The second stage of the Black Sea Grand Prix series has ended at the AMAKS Orbita Resort.
The program includes tournaments in rapid chess and blitz. On May 19, rapid competitions were held, in which 45 chess players took part. International master Kirill Shubin (St. Petersburg) and grandmaster Nikita Afanasyev (Moscow) scored 10 points out of 13. According to additional indicators, Shubin was the first.
The best result among women was shown by Elena Kramarenko (Volgograd region) - 7 points (20th place).
The total prize fund of the festival is 12 million 700 thousand rubles. In addition, the winner of the overall standings and the chess player who showed the best result among women will receive a LADA car as a reward.
