Since April 4, official Aikido competitions and Championships of the Southern and North Caucasian Federal Districts have been held on the territory of the resort complex.
The tournament brought together the strongest athletes: from juniors to experienced masters. Intense fights unfolded on the tatami, where each participant fights not only for medals and diplomas, but also for a special award - a ticket to national and international Aikido competitions. This means that the winners will get a chance to represent their regions at a high level and compete for the title of the best in the country and abroad.
The opening ceremony of the competition was marked by a welcoming speech by the Executive Director of the National Council of Aikido of Russia (NSAR) and a member of the Supreme Council of the Russian Union of Martial Arts (RSBI) Igor Pasko. In his speech, he stressed the importance of the event for the development of Aikido in the regions, noted the high level of training of the participants and wished the athletes a fair fight, bright victories and new sporting achievements. It should be noted that the first awards have already found their owners. They have already received well-deserved medals, diplomas and memorable prizes.
The competition program has not been completed yet. In the coming days, participants and guests will receive training seminars from leading Aikido experts, as well as a conference where topical issues of the development of Japanese martial art and, of course, intense fights for medals in various age and weight categories will be discussed.
